Avid Production Suites: If you enjoy movies, television, music, videogames, or virtually any other form of electronic media, you have almost certainly experienced the work of the legions of content creators who use Avid solutions to bring their creative visions to life. Building on a concept that originated in a garage in Massachusetts in 1987, Avid has become the world leader in digital media creation tools for film, video, audio, animation, games, and broadcast professionals. Today, most of what you see and hear – 90% of primetime television shows, 85% of feature films, 80% of commercials, and nearly all of the chart-topping pop music hits – is made using one or more Avid products. And the company has received the most prestigious awards in the industries it serves – including three Emmys, a Grammy, and two Oscar statuettes: the 1998 Scientific and Technical Award for the concept, design, and engineering of the Avid Film Composer system for motion picture editing, and the 2003 Scientific and Technical Award for the design, development, and implementation of the Pro Tools digital audio workstation.
The Company plans to have five Avid suites of which two will be master suites.
Camera, Lighting & Equipment Rental: The Company will derive income from the rental of camera, lighting and other equipment from clients using the facility. The Company may also allow rental of productions that are off site and the Company will have policies in place to cover the rental items.
Distribution: The Company will provide distribution services for CD and DVD projects.
Film Mixing Suite (Theatre): The Company has designed a mixing suite for visual related projects. The room will have the feel of a real life moving theatre which will allow users to mix in a real world environment.
Marketing & Manufacturing: Our state-of-the art facilities will be outfitted with the latest graphic and printing equipment available.
Office Space Suite Rentals: The Company has retained the services of CB Richard Ellis to manage the rental of office suites. The suites will allow companies in the entertainment industry to be located directly on the campus grounds with easy access to the facility. The Company will offer “instant offices” that delivers an array of workplace solutions including telephone answering, conference rooms and full receptionist & administrative support services.
Protools Digital Recording Suites: For 20 years, Digidesign has been the industry leader in digital audio production, providing the professional music, broadcast, multimedia, and film industries with tools for audio creation, post production, collaboration, and distribution. Our innovative core technologies, which continue to revolutionize the audio profession and the art of recording, have earned us a Grammy® award for Outstanding Technical Achievement and, more recently, an Oscar® statuette representing the 2003 Scientific and Technical Award for the design, development, and implementation of the Digidesign Pro Tools digital audio workstation. The Company plans to have two Protools suites along with using Protools as a recording base through out the facility.
Scoring/Large Scale Recording Studio: In order to handle large scale recording sessions. The facility will house a large scale recording / scoring stage. It will hold orchestras in the 75 to 100-person range, while retaining a special quality that music-scoring artisans find very appealing, what many call “a sweet sound.”
Sound-Stages: Covering over 100,000 square Feet, the Company a sound stages which can be converted info five smaller stages which will be use for television, video and commercial production. The soundstage will serve as the wake up call to the film and television industry that the State of Georgia will be on the forefront and shall be viewed as the “Hollywood of the South”.
SSL Recording Suite: Solid State Logic is the world's largest manufacturer of professional analogue and digital audio consoles for music, broadcast, post production and film. With more than 3000 SSL-equipped studios and facilities operational today, the excellence of SSL consoles is universally recognized for unrivalled sonic quality, superb ergonomics, outstanding automation and an international support infrastructure second to none. Founded in 1969, SSL has since expanded to its present 15 acre science park in Oxfordshire, England. SSL's unrivalled resources, including R&D, manufacturing, training, service and product support, operate in a unique high technology, customer oriented environment.
The Company plans to have two SSL recording base suites.
Workshop Rental: The Company will derive income from the rental of a workshop area used for construction by clients using the facility along with other productions for clients outside of the facility.
